Meeladun Nabi SAWW Celebrations 1437

Michael H Hart in his book The 100, Ranking of the most Influential Persons in History selected Prophet Muhammed (SAWW) as the most influential person, his reason was that it was only Prophet Muhammed who was supremely successful in both religious and secular levels.

To mark the birth anniversary of this great personality, Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya organized Meelad un Nabi Celebrations on 30th December 2015 at the Bilal Hall, Mombasa. The function attracted Muslims brothers from all corners of Mombasa and it’s environs.

Qaswida were recited by various individuals.

An elaborative and enlightening speech by Sheikh Ayub Rashid, articulated the topic on the birth and the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) relating his teachings to the current challenges being faced by the Muslims in the world today.

There was a young boy named, Abdallah Hussein from Nyali Primary School who was the top student in Mombasa County and was awarded 440 marks out of 550 marks in the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) national examination. All Muslim brothers who had gathered up for this auspicious event prayed for the young boy’s better future.
