Celebrating The Wiladat of Imam Ali bin Abu Talib (a.s) 1432 A.H

On Sunday 19th June 2011, Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya organized a function to mark the birth day of Imam Ali bin Abu Talib (a.s) at Bilal Hall, Mombasa.

 

The program began at 4:15 pm with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Thereafter very educative qaswidas were recited by students from Madrasah Amirul Mu’minin - Matuga and Madrasah Swalihiyn – Kisauni. Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir then began his informative speech. He outlined the Imam’s unique birth place – al Kaaba and his holy life thereafter. Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir particularly urged muslims world over to take this day with utmost importance in their calendars.  He talked about the Imam’s closeness to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w), his akhlaq, his immense knowledge and taqwa saying he was the holiest person after the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w) giving several ahadith to prove this.

The program came to an end at around 5:30 pm with the recitation of dua and ziyarat of masumin therafter niyaz was distributed and mu’minin dispersed.
